On May 19, 2025, Schroders announced the appointment of Jamie Fowler as Head of UK Wealth Management. This strategic decision comes at a time of transformation for the Group, which is seeking to strengthen its position in the wealth management sector.
With over 20 years at Schroders, Fowler has held several senior roles, including Head of Regional Sales and Advisory. Before joining the firm in 2002, he served as Regional Sales Director at HSBC Asset Management from 1999 to 2002.
In this new position, he will be responsible for managing Schroders' relationships with UK-based intermediary clients—including financial advisers, wealth managers, family offices, and discretionary fund managers. He will also lead the promotion of Schroders’ investment offering for these audiences, ranging from mutual funds to bespoke mandates and alternative solutions.
This appointment follows the arrival of Oliver Gregson, who joined Schroders in February 2025 as Managing Director of Wealth Management. Gregson, previously Head of UK Private Banking at JPMorgan, succeeded Mary-Anne Daly, who now serves as a strategic advisor after a transformative tenure at the helm.
Under Daly’s leadership, Schroders’ wealth management business has grown substantially, with assets under management rising to £120 billion, supported by acquisitions and a growing high-net-worth client base.
Fowler’s nomination reinforces Schroders' long-term strategy to deepen its presence in the UK and deliver a more tailored offering to its private clients and wealth partners.
